Job summary

Relativity Space is hiring an Inventory Specialist II to own the operational excellence of our inventory system and grow into an ERP/MES subject-matter expert, ensuring materials flow accurately to production.

In the Supply Chain team, you’ll balance lead time, cost, and manufacturability while upholding 5S, ITAR, and traceability across flight hardware, with a Monday–Friday 5:00 a.m. start and overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an inventory, logistics, receiving, or material handling role
• 1+ years of forklift experience with OSHA certification
• Experience executing transactions in ERP and warehouse management software with a complete audit trail
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and email
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and weekends

Responsibilities

• Execute all inventory transactions (receiving, putaway, picking, issuance, returns) in real-time through ERP/MES with >99.9% accuracy and full traceability
• Own the daily cycle count program: schedule, execute, and investigate variances
• Verify incoming material as final quality gate before production inventory
• Pick and kit parts to support on-time delivery, applying FIFO and verifying serialized flight hardware
• Handle aerospace standards (FOD, ESD) and maintain 5S in zones; secure ITAR material
• Communicate ETAs, flag supply issues, complete shift handoffs, and suggest process improvements
• First shift: Monday–Friday 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT with 10 guaranteed overtime hours/week
