Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is hiring for an Inventory Clerk to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels within our store’s Management System. You will greet customers with a helpful attitude while upholding our core value of service excellence and accuracy.

You will perform daily stock counts, manage ordering/receiving, and ensure shelves stay stocked and compliant. Strong math, organizational, and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Experience with inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily stock counts to ensure accurate balances.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving.
• Complete all pending inventory transactions daily.
• Communicate with store director about levels, shortages, and shelf conditions.
• Ensure product levels are maintained and replenished on shelves.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies while performing duties.
• Provide friendly customer service and respond to inquiries and complaints.
