Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking an Inventory Clerk to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels within our Inventory Management System. You will greet customers and uphold our Jump Over the Counter Service Excellences as part of daily duties.

You’ll perform stock counts, ensure proper ordering, and coordinate with store leadership to resolve shortages, while maintaining a clean and safe store environment. This role supports growth and teamwork within a family-friendly retailer.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required; one year of related experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18; Partners must be 21+ to drive per policy.
• Must be able to learn and use Inventory Management System effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs stock counts in the Inventory Management System daily to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving of product.
• Ensures all pending inventory transactions are reviewed and completed daily.
• Communicates with store director on inventory levels; researches shortages and corrects shelf conditions.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to company safety procedures.
