Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory & Operations Associate in Plano, TX to maintain front-end and pharmacy inventory, assist with receiving, counts, pricing, and vendor returns, and support planogram accuracy.

In this role you will open/close duties in designated stores as needed, engage customers, supervise stock movement, and ensure accurate on-hand balances while following company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience (internal) or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Executes and coaches team on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Scans deliveries in-store, including common carrier deliveries, and manages One Box receiving and returns.
• Verifies pharmacy shipments and postings for products received, and reports shortages or damaged items.
• Completes On-Shelf Availability end-to-end for planogrammed departments, including disposals and vendor returns.
• Maintains inventory counts and accuracy across front-end, stockroom, and pharmacy per SOPs.
• Supports pricing activities, including price changes and signage accuracy.
