Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the United States (Port Reading, NJ) is hiring an Inventory Associate to operate MHEs, count inventory, and maintain accurate warehouse records. The role requires a HS diploma or GED and at least 6 months in logistics.

You will support supervisors, comply with quality standards, and contribute to a safe work environment. The position offers full-time hours, on-site work in Port Reading, and opportunities to grow within the Solutions division.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
• Direct customer interface to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Return material from customer to factory and transfer material to appropriate areas.
• Relocate material to maintain inventory range and locations.
• Safe use of all equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
• Prepare records and reports for inventory control and cycle counts.
• Support shipping/receiving and locate missing items throughout facility.
• Use PC for emails and reporting as required.
