Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring an Inventory Control Associate in Houston, TX. The role involves operating material handling equipment (MHE) to move, locate, relocate, stack and count inventory, with data entry for receipts, shipments and inventory maintenance.

As part of the DSV team, you will help ensure quality standards and comply with policies while meeting performance, safety and accuracy objectives. Flexibility for nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
• Direct customer interface to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Transfer material to the appropriate area.
• Safe use of all equipment.
• Use PC for e-mail and generating reports as required.
• Review/investigate inbound/outbound functions including unloading, checking, and loading; assist in cycle counts.
