Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Chantilly, VA is hiring an Inventory Control Associate. You will operate MHE, count and locate inventory, enter data, and support the supervisor to ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months in logistics, ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, and forklift certification. The pay is $26.50 hourly, with benefits information available.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
• Direct customer interface to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Return material coming from customer to factory.
• Transfer material to the appropriate area.
• Relocate material to keep and maintain inventory range and locations.
• Safe use of all equipment.
• Function autonomously, reporting progress and issues to supervisor/management.
• Follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Maintain records and reports for inventory control and security; conduct cycle counts as required.
