Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Houston, TX is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to operate MHE, locate and count stock, and input receipts and shipments for inventory maintenance.

As part of the Solutions division, you will help ensure quality standards, meet safety requirements, and support daily cycle counts while maintaining accurate records and reporting to supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
• Direct customer interface to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Return material coming from customer to factory.
• Transfer material to the appropriate area.
• Relocate material to maintain inventory range and locations.
• Safe use of all equipment.
• Function autonomously and report progress to supervisor.
• Follow company policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain records and conduct daily/monthly cycle counts.
• Perform safety audits and report unsafe operations.
