Job summary

Castelion is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain inventory integrity across physical and system environments. You will work with Purchasing, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure materials are received, tracked, stored, and issued to support production plans.

The role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on execution, and a continuous improvement mindset to align physical stock with ERP data in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Material Management, Manufacturing Operations, or related field.
• Experience in ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience handling hazardous materials.
• Advanced Excel skills with data analysis and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Track, receive, identify, and document inbound inventory per procedures.
• Coordinate shipping activities and document outbound materials.
• Maintain alignment between physical stock and ERP data.
• Own inventory accuracy via robust cycle count program.
• Perform regular physical inventories and reconcile with system records.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Production to resolve variances.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support daily production kitting per monthly plan.
• Optimize storage locations for space and flow.
• Maintain compliance with procedures and security requirements.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Support continuous improvement in inventory control and data accuracy.
