Job summary

Cold Spring Brewing in Minnesota is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage finished goods and raw materials across production sites. The role emphasizes precise documentation, cross‑department collaboration, and maintaining inventory accuracy in ERP systems.

The position involves 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm or 6pm–6am) on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule with a night differential where applicable, and requires strict adherence to GMP and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in a blending or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and customer portals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Regular use of computer, writing, and filing records.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer scheduled production across all variety pack lines.
• Ensure materials are at the correct location prior to production.
• Verify inventory issued to VP production orders.
• Collaborate across departments to troubleshoot inventory variances and deficiencies.
• Communicate with Shipping and Production teams on training and updates.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues requiring consumption of subs and raw materials for Finished Goods creation.
• Verify counts and adjust discrepancies in clerical records.
• Assist in variance reporting of Finished Goods and Raw Materials.
• Notify Accounting when VP Production orders are ready for invoicing.
• Assist in setting up and controlling FEFO Inventory System.
