Job summary

Cold Spring Brewing is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support the smooth flow of goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will manage bills of lading, coordinate with brokers and drivers, and ensure accurate documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.

Based in our Cold Spring facility, this full-time role involves 12-hour day shifts, rotation, and adherence to GMP and Food Safety standards. Prior SAP or GMP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a blending or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Regular use of computer, writing, and filing records.

Responsibilities

• Receive email from broker/agents requesting appointment date and time.
• Reply to broker/agents with scheduled appointment on calendar.
• Compare item counts/weights against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or records.
• Input data for Bills of Lading and other documents for pick-up of scheduled product.
• Check in inbound/outbound deliveries with driver-provided numbers and complete related forms.
• Communicate with Dock Coordinators to direct truckers to the correct dock door.
• Answer phone calls and assist visitors to the facility.
• Direct incoming calls to the appropriate company representative.
