Job summary

People Integra (A Business Integra Group Company) in Wilmington, NC seeks an Inventory / Materials Specialist I to support maintenance operations in an industrial environment. This role is 100% onsite with a Monday–Friday day shift, offering a long-term opportunity.

You will manage parts, perform cycle counts, coordinate with vendors, and maintain BOMs and technical records while collaborating with maintenance teams to verify parts and specs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management.
• Experience with inventory systems; ERP or CMMS preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and BOM familiarity.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and parts lists.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize maintenance parts and storage areas.
• Perform cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and procurement for parts.
• Review and update BOMs, part numbers, descriptions, and quantities.
• Maintain accurate inventory and technical records.
• Work with maintenance teams to verify parts and specs.
• Deliver parts/tools to maintenance teams.
• Analyze usage and identify obsolete inventory.
• Follow site safety and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and organize maintenance parts and storage areas
• Perform cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory reconciliation
• Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities
• Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams for replacement parts
• Review and update Bills of Material (BOMs), part numbers, descriptions, and quantities
• Maintain accurate inventory and technical records
• Work with maintenance teams and engineers to verify parts and specifications
• Deliver parts, materials, and tools to maintenance teams
• Analyze parts usage and identify obsolete inventory
• Follow site safety and operational procedures

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials, maintenance support, or parts management
• Experience with inventory systems; ERP or CMMS experience is preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory reconciliation
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and parts lists
• BOM management experience is a plus
• High School Diploma or GED
