Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records to meet production demands.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical audits, investigate discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Production for timely replenishment.
  • Track inventory movement and organize storage.
  • Monitor expiration dates and rotate stock appropriately.
  • Identify trends and variances, recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reports.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure our inventory is accurate, materials are readily available, and production runs smoothly. As our Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient operations by:

  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels meet production demands.
  • Performing routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits, investigating and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Coordinating with Purchasing and Production to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
  • Tracking inventory movement and maintaining proper storage and organization of materials.
  • Monitoring material expiration dates and ensuring inventory is rotated appropriately.
  • Identifying inventory trends, variances, and issues, while recommending corrective actions.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reports.
  • Maintaining compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures for inventory handling and storage.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of inventory control experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods throughout the workday.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Schedule

Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
40 hours per week
