Job summary

Ignite Digital is seeking an inventory control professional in Charleston, NY. The role requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools, SharePoint, and Teams.

You will manage daily stock counts, inspect inbound shipments, and maintain item master data while coordinating with engineering and purchasing teams to prevent stockouts. The successful candidate will build recurring stock level reports, support month-end counts, and drive process

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and related Microsoft 365 technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly cycle counts; reconcile stock with ERP records.
• Receive, inspect, and log inbound shipments; flag damages or shortages.
• Maintain item master data; process adjustments, transfers, and returns.
• Build reports on stock levels, aging, shrink, and slow-moving items; provide reorder recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve stockouts and ensure compliance; support counts.
• Identify and implement process improvements across inventory workflows.
• Operate material handling equipment; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and weekly cycle counts across Charleston facilities; investigate discrepancies and reconcile physical stock against ERP records to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Receive, inspect, and log inbound shipments, verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders; flag damages or shortages to purchasing.
• Maintain item master data, including bin locations, unit‑of‑measure, and reorder points; process inventory adjustments, transfers, and returns.
• Build recurring reports on stock levels, aging, shrink, and slow‑moving items; provide reorder recommendations to operations and purchasing teams.
• Partner with engineering to resolve stockouts, expedite critical materials, ensure TAA and NDAA compliance, develop bills of materials, and support month‑end and annual physical inventory counts.
• Identify and support implementation of process improvements across inventory workflows.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Required Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and related Microsoft 365 technologies

Salary: 50k+ dependent on education and experience
