Job summary

Ignite Digital is seeking an Inventory Specialist for our Charleston facility to perform cycle counts, receive and log shipments, and maintain item master data to ensure accuracy. You will build stock reports, assist with month-end counts, and support NDAA/NDAA compliance efforts while collaborating with purchasing and engineering teams.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and proactive, detail‑oriented work habits in a fast-paced government contracting

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly cycle counts across Charleston facilities; investigate discrepancies and reconcile physical stock against ERP records to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Receive, inspect, and log inbound shipments, verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders; flag damages or shortages to purchasing.
• Maintain item master data, including bin locations, unit of measure, and reorder points; process inventory adjustments, transfers, and returns.
• Build recurring reports on stock levels, aging, shrink, and slow-moving items; provide reorder recommendations to operations and purchasing teams.
• Partner with engineering to resolve stockouts, expedite critical materials, ensure NDAA/NDAA compliance, develop bills of materials, and support month-end and annual physical inventory counts.
• Identify and support implementation of process improvements across inventory workflows.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Salary: 50k+ dependent on education and experience
