Job description

Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Summary:

The Inventory Specialist will play a vital role in managing the inventory program. They will oversee processes and procedures for a designated program, focusing on large-volume, small-part inventory management. The ideal candidate should be able to organize extensive data and extract key information. A mindset geared towards continuous improvement is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Track all inventory used by contractors for running WIFI cables to bury fiber, including splitters, construction materials, vaults (protecting electrical wiring), markers, etc., on contractor sites.
• Label and correctly place inventory items on-site, noting that this is not in a client's warehouse but on contractor sites, which may include small warehouses with docks.

Work Schedule:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Requirements:

• Verify stock information and unit identification numbers
• Inventory and audit equipment and parts
• Unpackage, sort, and stage units for production
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Perform cycle counts and audits following company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
