Job description

Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Summary: The Inventory Specialist plays a vital role in managing the inventory program. They oversee processes and procedures for a designated program, with experience in handling large-volume, small-part inventories. The ideal candidate should be capable of organizing extensive data and extracting key information. A mindset focused on continuous improvement is essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Tracking all inventory used by contractors for WIFI cable installation, including materials like splitters, construction materials, vaults, and markers, on contractor sites (not in client warehouses).
  • Labeling inventory and placing it appropriately on-site, often in buildings with small warehouses and docks.

Work Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Requirements:

  • Verify stock information and unit identification numbers.
  • Audit equipment and parts.
  • Unpackage, sort, and stage units for production.
  • Receive units using RF handheld devices.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform cycle counts and audits following company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills:

  • Experience as an Inventory Specialist.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
