Responsibilities

1. Execute, monitor, and train on inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Support pharmacy inventory activities like receiving, counting, ordering, and returns. Ensure On-Shelf Availability and validate planogram accuracy.
2. Review reports and system applications to maintain accuracy of on-hand balances and pricing for front end and pharmacy.
3. Implement and maintain asset protection techniques, file claims for overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods including prescription drugs.
4. In designated stores, open and close the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring readiness for the business day.

Customer Experience

1. Engage customers, resolve issues, and promote a positive experience. Share customer service best practices with team members.

Operations

1. Manage warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including creating and receiving orders.
2. Verify pharmacy shipments, execute On-Shelf Availability processes, and support pharmacy inventory activities.
3. Support pricing activities, maintain inventory counts, and ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
4. Assist with physical inventory preparations and maintain store cleanliness and organization.

Training & Personal Development

1. Attend training, complete e-learning modules, and maintain required certifications.

Communications

1. Serve as liaison between management and team members, communicate tasks, and report issues. Meet experience and language requirements, and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or one year in retail.
• Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Good attention to detail, multitasking ability, and operational problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: previous leadership or pharmacy experience, prior Walgreens employment.
