Job summary

Ndt-Global is seeking an Inventory Specialist to establish, maintain, and optimize our global inventory system. With a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement, you will coordinate internal provisioning, verify deliveries, and support ECO/CAPA activities across multiple regions.

The role requires hands-on warehouse experience, forklift certification, and proficiency with CAD/PDM and MS Office tools. Strong English skills and independence are essential in a diverse, international environment.

Qualifications

  • A vocational training in warehouse operations or related field is required.
  • Certification to operate forklifts and overhead cranes is required.
  • Experience with load securing methods is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with warehouse operations is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Inventory role is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with production and manufacturing processes and techniques is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure provision of internal project parts to preparation teams according to project schedules.
  • Confirm material deliveries from other regions or suppliers by goods receipt postings in the ERP system and deliver material to target locations.
  • Coordinate and execute inventory optimization and permanent inventory count.
  • Execute loading and unloading of goods.
  • Maintain oversight of incoming items from different global locations and resolve related issues.
  • Support execution of ECO, CAPA and internal manufacturing activities.
  • Handle packaging and declaration of Dangerous Goods.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job description

Purpose

The goal of the Inventory Specialist is to execute, coordinate, and support the business by establishing, maintaining, and optimizing our global inventory system. At this level, the job holder is familiar with all Inventory tasks and is able to perform them with little guidance. Proactively reports on the status of his/her work and provides feedback as needed

Responsibilities
  • Ensure provision of internal project parts (CAPEX, other) to preparation teams/ staging areas accordance with project schedules
  • Confirms material deliveries from other regions or suppliers by executing goods receipt postings in the ERP-System and delivers material to target location
  • Coordinates and executes inventory optimization and permanent inventory count
  • Executes loading and unloading of goods
  • Maintain oversight of incoming items from different global locations to consolidate and resolve related issues
  • Supports execution of Engineering Change Orders (ECO), internal manufacturing, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)
  • Executes packaging & declaration of Dangerous Goods
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & requirements
  • A vocational training, apprenticeship or similar education in warehouse operations or related field is required
  • Certification to operate forklifts and overhead cranes is required
  • Experience with load securing methods is required
  • Certification in transportation of dangerous goods (ground, ocean, and air) is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with warehouse operations is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Inventory role is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with production and manufacturing processes and techniques is required
  • Possesses degree of independence in executing tasks
  • Requires little guidance in executing tasks
  • Has basic experience in creating appropriate documentation and driving continuous improvement processes
  • Experience in an international and culturally diverse environment is preferred
  • Must be proficient in spoken and written English as well as the local language
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Teams
  • Basic knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) Program + PDM system (e.g. Pro.File)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Intermediate knowledge of data management, content management and workflow Program (e.g. Sharepoint)
Work Environment:
  • Works in a warehouse environment
  • Frequent work in a shop/field environment
  • Occasional work in outdoor weather conditions (hot/wet/cold)
  • Occasional work near mechanical and environmental noise
  • Occasional work in high, precarious places
  • Occasional domestic and/or international travel
