Responsibilities
- Execute, monitor, and train on inventory best practices and standard operating procedures across the store, including front end and pharmacy.
- Support pharmacy inventory activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
- Ensure on-shelf availability and validate planogram accuracy.
- Review reports and system applications impacting inventory accuracy and pricing.
- Implement asset protection techniques and handle claims for overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
- In designated stores, open and close the store as needed, including cash handling and system start-ups.
Customer Experience
- Engage customers, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
- Share customer service best practices with team members.
Operations
- Manage warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including order creation and receipt.
- Verify pharmacy shipments and perform inventory activities under pharmacist supervision.
- Complete on-shelf availability processes, pricing activities, and inventory counts.
- Maintain compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
Training & Personal Development
- Attend training and maintain necessary certifications.
Communications
- Coach team members, communicate tasks, and report issues to management.
- Minimum of six months experience with Walgreens or one year retail experience.
- Fluent in English and willing to work flexible hours.
