Responsibilities
  1. Execute, monitor, and train staff on inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Support pharmacy inventory activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns. Ensure On-Shelf Availability and validate planogram accuracy.
  2. Review reports and system applications to ensure accurate on-hand balances and pricing for front end and pharmacy.
  3. Implement asset protection techniques and file claims for overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods, including prescription drugs.
  4. In designated stores, open and close the store in the absence of management, including systems start-up, cash handling, and ensuring readiness for the business day.
Customer Experience
  1. Greet customers, offer assistance, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
  2. Share customer service best practices with team members to enhance service quality.
Operations
  1. Manage warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including creating and reviewing orders.
  2. Handle deliveries, perform scans, and verify pharmacy shipments under pharmacist supervision.
  3. Complete On-Shelf Availability processes, including disposals and vendor returns.
  4. Assist with pharmacy inventory activities, pricing, and compliance with laws.
  5. Maintain accurate inventory records, prepare for physical inventories, and ensure store cleanliness and system knowledge.
  6. Support package delivery activities, POS operations, and adhere to policies.
Training & Personal Development
  1. Attend training, complete e-learning modules, and maintain required certifications.
Communications
  1. Coach team members, communicate tasks, and report issues to management.
  2. Requirements include prior retail or Walgreens experience, English fluency, flexible schedule, and a good performance record.
