Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Warehouse Materials Clerk in California to receive, inspect, and stock materials for DoD-related programs. The role involves validating shelf-life, using bar code wands, scanners, and terminals, and ensuring accurate transactions in inventory systems.

The work may require CAC access and occasional outdoor duties. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, preparing shipments, maintaining storage matrices, generating basic reports, and complying with safety and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six to twelve months of related experience or training.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds and stand on ladders.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to operate motorized equipment.
• Ability to pass and maintain a security clearance.
• Must be able to work weekends and various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and perform receiving inspection per procedures.
• Check stocks for damage or expiration and manage shelf-life.
• Conduct inventories using bar code wands, scanners, and terminals.
• Move materials safely to storage and issue points.
• Process transactions in inventory systems and use ULLS-G as required.
• Prepare materials for shipment following packaging procedures.
• Store materials per storage matrix and ensure care in storage.
• Ensure shipments are packaged, labeled, and loaded.
• Load/unload on skids and pallets; prepare basic reports.
• Operate tools and equipment as approved; record data and tags.
