Job summary

KENT Consumer Brands Americas, LLC in Columbus, Mississippi, is seeking an Inventory Shipping/Receiving Clerk to help coordinate shipments and maintain accurate inventory records in our distribution center.

This full-time, hourly role offers stability and a comprehensive benefits package, with daily collaboration among drivers, warehouse staff, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of products.

Qualifications

• 6+ months in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or other safety-focused environment.
• Experience with inventory records and shipping documents.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly.
• Experience using computer systems to enter, track, and maintain information.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel).
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shipments and schedules for domestic and international operations.
• Prepare and maintain shipping/receiving documentation.
• Verify outbound shipments for accuracy before departure.
• Receive inbound shipments and post receipts.
• Coordinate pickup appointments with carriers and teams.
• Maintain driver and visitor sign-in logs for safety and security.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve order fulfillment and inventory issues.
• Support inventory audits and cycle counts per safety procedures.
