Job summary

Kelso Industries seeks a hands-on Receiving, Inventory & Shipping Manager in Duncan, SC. You will own inbound, inventory, and outbound material flows, leading a team and coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure accurate receipts, proper put-away, and on‑time shipments.

You will partner with Production, Purchasing and Project Managers, driving KPI‑driven improvements and safe operating practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in receiving, warehouse, inventory or shipping operations; 10+ years supervising a team

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage inbound deliveries with vendors and carriers
• Verify receipts against PO and packing list for cost, quantity and description
• Inspect for damage or nonconformance; report discrepancies within 24 hours
• Post receipts in ERP and route material to put‑away, QC or production
• File freight claims for shortages and damage and track to closure
• Maintain accurate on‑hand quantities and bin locations
• Lead cycle counts and annual physical inventory
• Plan weekly shipments and oversee packing and labeling to requirements
• Hire, train and evaluate receiving, inventory and shipping staff
• Enforce forklift safety and OSHA certifications
• Track KPIs and drive root‑cause corrective actions
• Write and maintain procedures for receiving, put‑away, counting, picking and shipping
