Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking an Automation Lead to champion robotic and automated fabrication cells on the shop floor in Duncan, SC. You will own uptime, guide troubleshooting, train operators, and coordinate with OEMs to ensure smooth data flow and high-throughput production.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in automation, robotics, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or welding technology, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Own robotic and automated cells, ensure uptime and quality output.
• Track downtime, root causes, and utilization; report trends to Production Manager.
• Respond to cell faults and restore production quickly.
• Coordinate spare parts with Procurement to minimize downtime.
• Develop, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance plans based on OEM recommendations.
• Manage cell software interface, offline programming, libraries, and file formats.
