Kelso Industries in Duncan, SC is seeking an experienced Coating and Paint Manager to lead the blast, prime, and paint operations. You will own surface preparation, coating systems, and paint specifications, ensuring parts are prepped, coated, and cured to spec, with accurate job estimates and schedules.

You’ll collaborate with Production, Estimating, Purchasing, Quality and Project Managers, measured by KPIs.

Formación

• 7+ years in industrial coating or painting, with 3+ years supervising a paint or blast crew.
• Hands-on knowledge of abrasive blasting, liquid spray application and cure processes.
• Ability to take off quantities from drawings and estimate coating jobs using linear feet and square footage.
• Read blueprints, coating specifications and product data sheets.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of ERP/production systems.
• OSHA and environmental requirements for coating operations.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and schedule daily and weekly work in blast and paint areas against production schedule and ship dates.
• Coordinate with Fabrication, Welding, Assembly and Shipping for on-time delivery.
• Manage coating processes including surface prep, primer, topcoat and cure timings.
• Oversee equipment maintenance of booths, blast rooms, spray gear, ovens and air systems.
• Track labor, materials and rework to meet budget and KPI targets.
