Job summary

Batchline Solutions in Morgan Hill, CA, seeks an Inventory Shift Lead to optimize inventory with warehouse, production, procurement and quality teams. You will drive adherence to SOPs, SSOPs, and GMPs while coaching staff in food safety and risk assessment.

You will coordinate material flow, conduct daily checks, counts, and shift handoffs, and promote a safe, compliant storage environment. Forklift experience and NAV ERP skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years inventory control or warehouse experience in food manufacturing.
• 1+ year supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to communicate duties and procedures to the team in English.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee SOPs, SSOPs and GMPs for our production center.
• Lead and train team members in basic food safety practices and coach on risk categorization.
• Delegate work assignments; set expectations and monitor activity.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and proper inventory staging.
• Conduct daily checks, EOS and shift hand-offs; maintain storage controls.
• Assist in defining storage and material handling requirements; ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, PPE and USDA standards.
• Perform monthly physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
