Job summary

Batchline Solutions in Morgan Hill, CA is hiring a Sanitation Shift Lead to coordinate sanitation activities in a food manufacturing setting. You will manage cleaning of equipment, production areas, and tools to meet USDA, GMP, HACCP, and company standards, while supporting QA and operations;

the role requires leading sanitation staff, scheduling tasks, and ensuring safety while maintaining strict food-safety practices. Priority on strong communication and team motivation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience in food handling production or sanitation.
• At least 6 months of supervisory experience leading a crew of 10+ employees.
• Experience in a food manufacturing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and master schedule.
• Follow SOP/SSOPs for daily cleaning tasks and waste removal.
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment safely per manufacturer specs.
• Assist supervisor with shift scheduling and task assignments.
• Lead sanitation team during shifts and multi-department coordination.
• Enforce LOTO procedures and safety regulations.
• Train new hires and communicate duties clearly.
• Inspect facilities for product safety and cleanliness compliance.
