Our Home Stage division bridges the gap between beautifully staged spaces and ready-to-purchase furnishings—allowing prospective buyers or tenants to seamlessly purchase the furniture they fall in love with.

Position Overview

The Inventory & Sales Coordinator for the Home Stage Division is a key client-facing and operational role that supports furniture sales to end users who view staged properties. This position manages the post-staging customer journey—from inquiry to order fulfillment—while ensuring the Home Stage inventory and supplier relationships support a smooth purchasing process.

You’ll be responsible for communicating with potential buyers and tenants who wish to purchase furniture from staged units, coordinating inventory and vendor availability, sending proposals and invoices promptly, and working with designers to ensure that staged items are always available for sale.

This role requires excellent communication and follow-up skills, high attention to detail, and comfort juggling multiple moving parts. You’ll act as the bridge between the sales experience, vendor relationships, inventory management, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Sales Support
  • Respond to end-user inquiries about staged furniture purchases; provide detailed product and pricing information
  • Generate and send estimates and invoices in a timely manner
  • Serve as the primary liaison for all post-staging sales conversations, ensuring clients have a seamless purchasing experience

Inventory & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with procurement and vendor teams to confirm real-time availability of items featured in model units
  • Anticipate demand based on staging trends and maintain open communication with key suppliers to ensure availability
  • Flag low-stock or discontinued items and work with designers to suggest substitutions that match the original aesthetic

Internal Collaboration & Design Team Support

  • Collaborate with the staging design team to ensure selected pieces are commercially available and suitable for resale
  • Help guide designers in sourcing selections that align with both visual goals and resale feasibility
  • Assist in documenting which items are featured in each project and whether they’re resale-eligible

Website & Listing Accuracy

  • Regularly update website inventory and product listings to reflect accurate stock, pricing, and descriptions
  • Ensure all featured model unit pieces are listed and available for quick reference and purchase

Process Management & Follow-Through

  • Track all customer requests and ensure proper follow-up and fulfillment
  • Manage customer timelines and delivery expectations, escalating issues as needed
  • Coordinate with delivery teams and warehouse to ensure timely fulfillment and logistics

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, account coordination, or interior design sales
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail with a design-savvy eye for interiors and furnishings
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with design, warehouse, vendors, and leadership
  • A proactive attitude and ability to anticipate challenges in fast-paced environments

Salary: $40,000–$50,000 (commensurate with experience)
