Job summary

UNIQLO in Canoga Park, CA seeks a Loss Prevention Agent to maintain a safe shopping environment and reduce shortages across stores. You will report to the Loss Prevention Manager and Store Manager, serving as a safety and protection specialist for our locations.

Responsibilities include training staff on loss prevention policies, identifying shoplifters per company guidelines, and supporting investigations while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Proficient with security software and CCTV systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local law.
• Experience with surveillance equipment and installations.
• Willingness to travel to stores within assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Train store team members on loss prevention and safety policies and ensure policy compliance.
• Identify, apprehend and detain shoplifters following company guidelines.
• Build relationships with store leadership and associates.
• Lead awareness efforts and generate leads for investigations.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and educate staff on procedures.
• Support audits and inventory counts and ensure confidentiality.
