Job summary

UNIQLO Loss Prevention in Torrance, CA is seeking a Loss Prevention Agent to keep stores safe while protecting assets and reducing shortages. You will report to the Loss Prevention Manager and Store Manager and collaborate with leadership to uphold safety standards.

Key duties include training staff on policies, identifying security risks, and conducting investigations. The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to company policy across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of computer applications including Security Software, CCTV, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local law.
• Knowledge of surveillance/security equipment and installations.
• Ability to travel to stores within assigned area.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Train store teams on loss prevention and safety policies, procedures and standards and report violations.
• Identify, apprehend and detain shoplifters following company guidelines.
• Build relationships with store leadership and associates.
• Lead awareness efforts and generate leads for investigations.
• Support inventory management and shortage reduction initiatives.
• Investigate issues and educate team on proper procedures.
• Ensure compliance with shortage reduction strategies and company policy.
• Inspect compliance through store visits and provide direction and training.
