Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an inventory planner to manage replenishment and inventory strategy for assigned categories. You will analyze trends, rate of sale, and order quantities to maintain optimal store and distribution center in-stock levels.

Responsibilities include forecasting, PO execution, and collaborating with buying and logistics to adjust plans for promotions and events. Prior retail experience and SAP/Excel proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years’ experience in forecasting or replenishment, preferably in a retail environment.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Merchandising, Field Operations, Logistics or Store Planning in a retail environment preferred or via internship.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field; education or experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Implement replenishment and inventory strategy to meet service level targets.
• Manage inventory levels using trends, rate of sale, and order quantities.
• Plan and execute article-site replenishment at stores for replenished products.
• Execute purchase orders and assist with PO expediting and logistics issues.
• Forecast management using historical data and current trends for store and DC.
• Provide vendor forecasts for replenished inventory.
