Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Inventory Clerk to coordinate and process warehouse inventory in support of AMS and client procedures. You will count, weigh, sort, and verify inbound shipments, ensure accurate receipt, and manage transfers between locations.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, physical inventories, data entry of receipts and adjustments, and exporting reports from InOrder. Strong communication and PC skills are essential; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years inventory control or related experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Forklift experience.
  • InOrder system knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Supervisor or Inventory Manager.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control or count procedures.
  • Transfer product between locations.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Communicate clearly on all inventory issues.
  • Perform inventory moves and cycle counts.
  • Perform physical inventories and explain adjustments.
  • Export inventory reports to Excel from InOrder.
  • Data entry of receipts, adjustments, and transfers.
  • File documents accurately.
  • Communicate with truck drivers and client services.
  • Distribute shipments to correct recipients.
  • Follow ADA/FEHA accommodation guidelines.

Job SummaryCoordinate and process inventory in accordance with AMS and its clients set processes, operating procedures, and policies. Report any inventory issues. Responsible for Receiving all parcel and supply shipments.
