Job summary

Soho House Malibu is seeking a Receiver to manage all food and beverage stock, verify deliveries, and maintain clean, organized storage areas. You will ensure accurate receiving, storage, and distribution, while upholding FIFO practices and safety standards.

The role requires 1+ years of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work under time constraints, including weekends. You’ll partner with vendors and management to support smooth operations and uphold high‑quality service

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience leading a professional, high‑quality operation.
• Ability to read and write English, read labels and follow safety instructions.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify quantity of all produce, dry goods, beverages and supplies.
• Support vendors and management in receiving supplies as needed.
• Inspect quality and quantity; reject unacceptable items.
• Distribute merchandise per food safety rules and storage orders.
• Ensure FIFO for walk‑ins and freezer.
• Conduct inventory and report results to management.
• Perform daily checklist with overnight porter.
• Sanitize bar storage areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
