The Receiver position at Soho House & Co. in California involves handling and processing all food and beverage stock for the house. You will oversee the cleanliness of storage areas and ensure efficient flow of goods, including documenting, storing, locating, and distributing stock for departments.

A successful candidate will maintain accuracy, support vendors, and help ensure orders are correct while upholding high standards in a high-volume beverage operation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a fast-paced beverage/food operation.
• Ability to read and write English; ability to read labels and follow safety instructions.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify orders; document quantities.
• Support vendors and management in receiving supplies.
• Inspect merchandise; reject unacceptable items.
• Distribute stock per storage rules; ensure FIFO/stock rotation.
• Conduct inventory and communicate results to management.
• Complete daily checklist with overnight porter.
• Wipe down and sanitize bar storage areas; maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
