Job summary

Soho House & Co. is seeking a Receiver to manage the intake and storage of food and beverage stock for the house.

You will verify deliveries, document quantities, maintain FIFO storage areas, and ensure accurate distribution to departments while upholding food safety and cleanliness standards. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read labels, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced, high-volume beverage operation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ relative experience in a fast-paced operation.
• Ability to read and write English, read labels, and follow safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive all beverage and food orders and verify quantity received.
• Document quantities and ensure correct storage following FIFO rules.
• Support vendors and management in receiving supplies as needed.
• Inspect merchandise quality and quantity and reject any unacceptable items.
• Distribute items according to food safety rules and storage orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in bar storage areas.
• Conduct inventory and report results to management.
• Perform daily checklists with the overnight porter.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
