Job description

Ellwood Crankshaft Group (ECG) is the world's leading manufacturer and remanufacturer of large, one-of-a-kind, multiple-throw crankshafts. ECG's products and services include crankshafts and eccentrics used in mechanical stamping presses, reciprocating air and gas compressors, reciprocating pumps, engines, mechanical shears, rock crushers, homogenizers, and other miscellaneous applications. ECG services the locomotive, shipping, mechanical press, oil and gas, and compression markets.

Today, ECG has four facilities throughout PA. We are currently seeking a full-time Inventory and Receiving Coordinator position at Ellwood National Crankshaft in Irvine, PA. This non-exempt position will require flexibility in performing a variety of warehouse and tool cage duties to assist and support the manufacturing process and/or plant and equipment maintenance needs as they exist and change over time. The role may require working rotating shifts and/or 12-hour schedules.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with general computer applications, including email
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Results-oriented with a strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and other heavy equipment
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Inventory Systems

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Safe operation of forklifts, overhead cranes, power pushers, and other heavy equipment
  • Performing cycle counts on inventory
  • Executing basic inventory transactions in Syteline, including receiving parts against purchase orders, issuing parts to work orders, and updating part locations
  • Tagging and properly identifying parts in the warehouse
  • Ensuring items are tagged with an inventory number and that the numbers accurately reflect product details (description, manufacturer, etc.)
  • Assisting maintenance, production, and purchasing in identifying parts
  • Helping other ECG staff locate and sometimes deliver parts to other facilities
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
  • Handling outbound UPS small parcel transactions
