A leading company in Kentucky is seeking a Receiving Coordinator to manage stock and non-stock purchase orders efficiently. The role involves communication with vendors, ensuring timely receipt of materials, and adherence to safety protocols. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all Stock and Non-Stock Purchase
Orders (POs) are received into the E-1 Purchasing System in a timely, efficient and accurate
manner. The Receiving Coordinator communicates any PO issues with the Lead Receiving
Coordinator. Position will also notify end users of the non-stock receipts and coordinate
deliveries.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensures that all POs are received daily.
2. Ensures that all PO issues are properly addressed and resolved in a timely manner by
working with the Lead Receiving Coordinator.
3. Properly labels all Stock and Non-stock materials.
4. Notifies end users of non-stock received parts.
5. Notifies end users immediately upon receipt of any rush shipped items.
6. Assists in the daily operations of the Stores area, when needed.
7. Performs cycle counts as assigned.
8. Repair Tracking coordination and processing.
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Other duties as assigned
2. Participation in relevant continuous improvement programs.
3. Reports to the Receiving Leader. Receives work direction and instructions from the
Stores Receiving Leader, Stores Group Leader and the Stores Supervisor.
4. Services the needs of the Stores department and all NAS personnel, both plant and
administration.
5. Externally, the Receiving Coordinator has contact with vendors/suppliers.
6. Follow all Safety Programs. EX: Take 2, 6S, JSO, etc...
MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High school degree or equivalent (GED)
2. Minimal 2 years of Stores or similar experience.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Mobility in plant
While performing the duties of (this job), the employee is regularly required to sit, stand,
walk, etc.
The employee is frequently required to make use of their hands for technical tasks
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Visual ability with or without correction
Communication abilities
HEALTH AND SAFETY:
1. Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations
2. Follow Company safety rules
3. Report the absence of or defect in any protective equipment or clothing to the Supervisor
or Manager immediately
4. Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that is required to be used or
worn:
a. Safety shoes
b. Safety glasses
c. Hearing protection
d. Hard Hat
Some areas may require additional personal protective equipment such as:
e. Respirators; the respirator requires you to be clean shaven in order to comply with
company policies and procedures as well as OSHA Regulations.
f. Fire Retardant clothing
g. Acid PPE
5. Report to the Safety Coordinator, Group Lead or Supervisor any contravention of the
Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations or Company policy
6. Must follow all Lock out Tag out (LOTO) guidelines for designated machines
7. Must follow all Environmental Policies and Regulations
8. Maintain a clean and safe work area
