Job summary

Zuma is seeking an organized ZumaReceiver to inspect deliveries, verify quantities and quality, and accurately document inventory transactions. You will help keep the kitchen supplied and support exceptional dining experiences at Zuma Vail.

Ideal candidates have experience in receiving or inventory management in hospitality, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving or inventory management in hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP or food safety practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries of food, beverages, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders
• Inspect deliveries for quality, freshness, and adherence to specifications, rejecting any items that do not meet standards
• Record and document inventory transactions, including receipt, storage, transfer, and disposal of goods, using electronic inventory management systems
• Label and store received items in designated storage areas, following proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and audits to reconcile inventory records with actual stock on hand
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization in the receiving area, including storage shelves, bins, and refrigerators
