Zuma Restaurants is seeking a dedicated ZumaPrep Cook to support ingredient preparation and assist with multiple kitchen tasks. You will work closely with the kitchen team to uphold Zuma’s standards and deliver an exceptional dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll prepare ingredients, sauces, and menu components, while maintaining cleanliness and organization across the kitchen. This role requires adaptability to evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic kitchen tasks and food preparation techniques.
• Ability to follow Zuma recipes for sauces and marinades.
• Comfort working as part of a fast-paced kitchen team.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables, meats, and seafood.
• Prepare sauces, dressings, and marinades according to Zuma's recipes and standards.
• Assist with the assembly and production of menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
