Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Operations Support Inventory Coordinator in Portsmouth, VA to oversee quarantine warehouse material, returns, and scrap processes. The role ensures accurate logging, labeling, and dispositioning, supporting OTIF goals and safety checks within the Toxicology unit.

Ideal candidates have a high school education, 1 year warehousing experience, and strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, with forklift experience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic warehouse experience and high school education.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel pivot tables.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for material in the Quarantine warehouse and bulk quarantine.
• Manage collection, labeling, inspection and disposition of returns.
• Document non-conforming material and route for disposition to closure.
• Oversee scrapping process including pickup scheduling and palletizing.
• Maintain logs for scrap, returns, and non-conforming materials.
• Support warehouse operations to meet OTIF; cross-train in tasks.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and ERP reconciliation in SAGE/MS Great Plains.
• Assist Ops Support Supervisor with safety checks.
