Job summary

DAP is seeking an Inventory Analyst to schedule and plan production of manufactured items while maintaining optimal packaging supplies to meet schedule requirements in Tipp City, Ohio. You will use the SAP MRP system to view demand, forecasts and safety stock and translate that into production plans.

Responsibilities include creating production schedules, ensuring execution from receipt to shipping, coordinating new items and packaging, managing weekly schedule adherence, and driving continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in the relevant field.
• SAP experience is a must.
• PC/Microsoft application knowledge, knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Supply chain, manufacturing and leadership skills are a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills would be needed.

Responsibilities

• Determine production requirements through SAP to view demand, forecasts, safety stock and usage.
• Create production schedules; ensure execution from receiving to production to shipping.
• Coordinate new item numbers and packaging with corporate contacts and customers for on-time delivery.
• Maintain weekly schedule adherence rates.
• Balance high-volume runs with customer small batches.
• Balance line run time efficiency with customer orders.
• Enter purchase orders for packaging and raw materials in SAP.
• Manage inventory levels to meet production requirements.
• Cycle counting and managing OWH levels.
• Participate in S&OP meetings as needed.
• Attend vendor and customer meetings.
