Job summary

Dana is seeking a Material Planner to plan, schedule, and coordinate the flow of materials for manufacturing operations in Kentucky. You will balance inventory with production needs while minimizing waste, delays, and costs.

You will work as a key link between procurement, production, and supply chain teams, using SAP or Oracle to track material availability and report on status, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of material planning experience.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain planning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production schedules and forecasts to determine material needs.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders.
• Collaborate with purchasing and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Input material planning data in SAP or Oracle systems.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics to minimize downtime.
