Job summary

BioLegend, Inc. seeks a Production Planner to develop and manage the production schedule for manufacturing reagents, chemicals, and consumables in a fast-paced environment.

This role uses forecast information to balance inventory, scrap, and customer service levels while efficiently utilizing lab resources. The position requires SAP/APO expertise to create near- and long-term plans, maintain stock levels domestically and internationally, and coordinate with Product Management, Sales, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years ERP production planning experience.
• Associate degree with 4+ years ERP production planning experience.
• High school diploma with 6+ years ERP production planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop near-term and long-term production plans using SAP/APO.
• Maintain forecast performance and stock levels at domestic and international sites.
• Coordinate with manufacturing on BOM/Routing changes and costs.
• Align build schedules with Forecast, New Product Introductions, and margins.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to expedite opportunities and resolve issues.
• Analyze data and structure reports to improve inventory, scrap, and margins.
• May cross-train into other planning/procurement areas and travel to sites.
