Job summary

Schaeffler Motion Tech US in Seguin, TX is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure material in process accuracy across multiple production lines. You will conduct cycle counts, maintain SAP inventory accuracy, and coordinate daily SCM and Production shipments to sustain optimal sequencing and on-time delivery.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or 5 years in a related field, plus 2+ years in inventory or production management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of related experience.
2+ years in inventory management or production management.
Proficiency with MS Office tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to lift to 28 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory accuracy for material in process across multiple production lines.
Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy in SAP.
Coordinate SCM and Production daily shipments and material shortages to maintain optimal production sequence and on-time delivery.
Coordinate annual physical inventory across plant areas.
Analyze and drive inventory management continuous improvement projects.
Define kanban, milk run and supermarket for the production floor.
Data-driven mindset focused on inventory management and production output.
