Applied Materials in Austin, TX seeks a Production Planner / Production Control Specialist on a long-term contract via Yoh. The role focuses on production planning, inventory management, SAP/MRP accuracy, shortage analysis, and supporting engineering projects to drive continuous improvement.

Key duties include maintaining SAP production order releases, analyzing shortages, reviewing MRP, managing ECO dispositions, and participating in cycle counting and WIP audits to optimize manufacturing flow.

Qualifications

• Production planning or inventory/control experience in a manufacturing setting.
• SAP/ERP/MRP system knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SAP production order release schedules
• Perform shortage analysis and production order variance analysis
• Review MRP execution and reconcile supply and demand
• Manage ECO disposition and system audits
• Participate in inventory control and WIP audits
• Support engineering projects and material planning
• Analyze inventory levels and expedite shortages
