Applied Materials in Austin, TX is seeking a Production Planner / Production Control Specialist for a long‑term contract through Yoh. The role focuses on production planning, inventory management, SAP/MRP accuracy, and supporting engineering projects.

You will maintain SAP release schedules, perform shortage and variance analyses, reconcile supply and demand, manage ECO dispositions, and participate in cycle counting and WIP audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain roles.
• Knowledge of SAP, MRP, or ERP systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; manufacturing experience is a plus; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SAP production order release schedules
• Perform shortage analysis and production order variance analysis
• Review MRP execution and reconcile supply and demand
• Manage ECO disposition and system audits
• Participate in inventory control and WIP audits
• Support engineering projects and material planning
