Job summary

Aston Carter is hiring an Inventory Specialist in Boca Raton, FL. This onsite contract-to-hire role focuses on maintaining precise inventory across systems, sourcing products and freight, and negotiating favorable terms with vendors.

You will work with internal teams and external partners to improve accuracy, reduce costs, and drive supply chain efficiency. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with a clear path to long-term employment for high performers.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills for reporting, tracking, and data analysis.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation with suppliers for pricing and terms.
• Product and freight sourcing supporting operations.
• Experience with ecommerce inventory platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels and reporting using Excel and internal systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory availability across company websites and platforms.
• Update product information within inventory and procurement systems.
• Source products and freight services to support operations.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors.
• Coordinate with fulfillment houses and shipping providers to reduce costs.
• Prepare quotes and pricing estimates as needed.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across purchasing and logistics.
