Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a HUB Inventory Planner at our Houston, TX branch. You will oversee daily inventory planning for the Texas-Austin/West Texas region, forecast demand, allocate product, and coordinate SAP tasks to ensure accurate stock levels across branches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory stocking levels and item forecast for all branches in the Austin/West Texas Region.
• Plan inventory to ensure accurate allocations of product based on sales forecasts.
• Run reports and analysis to create and maintain databases and spreadsheets for different users or areas.
• Ensure good customer service while dealing with customers’ phone calls, follow-ups, and relationship management.
• Track and report efficiencies and yields associated with inventory management.
• Manage the reduction of excess and obsolete inventory.
• Report to management/supervision daily out of stock items/materials.
• Assists in cycle count discrepancy reconciliation at the branch level.
• Review, monitor, and address full good inventory levels to minimize potential out of stock risk to sales.
• Facilitation of all required SAP standard work tasks to support branch operations.
• Communicate effectively and promote information sharing between teams and departments.
• Manage special inventory projects
• Complete other duties as assigned
