Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. in San Antonio, TX seeks an Inventory Planner to manage daily inventory planning for the Texas-Austin/West Texas region, ensuring accurate product allocations and forecasting.

You will run reports, support SAP tasks, monitor stock levels, coordinate with customers, and drive data integrity while delivering reliable service to branch operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years materials management, supply chain, or inventory planning experience in a distribution/warehouse environment.
• HVAC experience is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SAP/WMS systems and data management.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory stocking levels and item forecast for all branches in the Austin/West Texas Region.
• Plan inventory to ensure accurate allocations of product based on sales forecasts.
• Run reports and analysis to create and maintain databases/spreadsheets for different users.
• Provide excellent customer service via calls and follow-ups.
• Track and report efficiencies and yields in inventory management.
• Reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
• Report daily out of stock items to management.
• Assist in cycle count discrepancy reconciliation at branch level.
• Support SAP tasks for branch operations.
